The quilters are a supportive and energetic community that creates and shares simple but durable quilts with local charitable organizations, globally to people displaced from their homes through Lutheran World Relief, and directly our neighbors living on the streets of Joliet.  They have been able to produce hundreds of quilts annually to be sent out and used as makeshift shelters, on-the-go containers for belongings, and as treasured items of beauty in the midst of hardship and distress. Through the cutting, stitching and knotting, this group finds Christ in their midst when they gather for fellowship, service, and the support of dear friends.
