The St. John Food Pantry is our largest ministry, serving neighbors all throughout the greater Joliet area. We serve food to everyone, no matter who they are or what their life situation is.  Through the generosity of our members and the community, as well as the efforts of a dedicated pool of volunteers, we are now able to provide food to several hundred families every week through multiple methods of distribution.  During the holidays, we also provide Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for families.   

Thanks to our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we are able to stretch monetary donations as far as possible, and in addition, food donations can be dropped off in the church narthex. Engaging volunteer shifts are available on several days and times throughout the week, and we are more than happy to sign for community service hours.
